Making a Difference in Putnam County 

Welcome to the homepage for Glen J. Arnold, the Agriculture & Natural Resource Educator for Putnam County.  OSU Extension has had an agriculture agent working in Putnam County since 1917.  Our mission is to utilize researched based information to conduct educational activities for the agriculture community.

The diversity of agriculture in Putnam County is reflected in the educational programs as there are five major Extension committees that provide direction for the Agricultural & Natural Resource Educator.  These agricultural committees are; Putnam County Pork Producers, Putnam County Dairy Association, Extension Agronomy Committee, Putnam County Cattleman’s Association and Putnam County Master Gardener Program/Horticulture.
